ITINERARY
Vietnam is a country of contrasts. A rich colonial history dominates its cities, sitting side-by-side with scenes that characterize the spirit of Southeast Asia. The countryside is a stunning portrait of varied landscapes, from the waterways leading to the South China Sea to terraced green paddy fields with the hilly central highlands in between.
To fully appreciate the region, this tour has been designed to accommodate everything that makes Vietnam special, giving you time to stay in the country’s finest accommodation, both on land and water, whilst admiring the wealth of unique and vibrant sites on offer
Day 01: Hanoi Arrive
Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be able to explore all the city has to offer before taking in Foodies Tour in the evening, you will have a great chance to enjoy special food on street of Hanoi old quarter, you have time to drink local Hanoi beer. You’ll then have a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Hanoi – Sapa
Our adventure starts with the drive to the mountain town of Sapa. The journey to Sapa will take the best part of the day. The drive is worthwhile though, as the scenery on your northward journey into the highlands is both dramatic and breathtaking. Arriving in Sapa you take a cable car to Fansipan mountain. Currently the highest point of Fansipan is at 3,143m high. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get cable car back go down for transfer to hotel. Overnight in Sapa.

Day 03: Sapa – Lao Chai & Ta Van
Today you have a full day trek from Sapa town along buffalo paths, trails and through several hill tribe villages. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you will meet. You have lunch at a restaurant . Rejoin car transfer back to Sapa for overnight.

Day 04: Sapa – Hanoi
Breakfast at hotel, you take a drive to Ta Phin valley, home to Black H’mong people and Red Dao people. Dao women are particularly striking as they wear a large red turban often covered with old coins or jewelery. They also shave their hair and eyebrows. Bidding farewell to Sapa and its friendly people you begin the journey back to the capital. Some short breaks on the way before you arrive in Hanoi by late afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi – Ninh Binh
8:00 Our driver and tour guide will pick you up at hotel to start the journey to Ninh Binh province. Ninh Binh is located south of the Northern Delta, between the Red River and Ma River. The old city of Ninh Binh is one of many famous historic sites in Vietnam. The provincial town of Ninh Binh as diverse landscapes because of its proximity to the mountains of Non Nuoc and Canh Dieu.
About 10:30 we will arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and visit 2 Temples of 2 Kings (Dinh Bo Linh and Le Hoan).
12:00 We have an hour for lunch at local restaurant . There, you will have a chance to enjoy local specialties. After lunch, we take a boat trip to explore the cave complex in Trang An. Enjoy peaceful moments with clear water, fresh air and spectacular views of mountainous areas. Trang An Landscape Complex is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs. This area was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can cycle around this area. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 06: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay
After breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to Ha Long Bay and arrive the jetty around 11.30 p.m.
About 12.00 -12.30, you are welcomed on board and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically include a visit to the cave, kayaking, swimming in crystal water. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 07: Halong Bay – Hanoi Airport fly to Danang
Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air, and breeze. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30 am. Your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Danang.
Up on arrive in Danang, our driver & guide will pick you up & take you to hotel in Hoi An for check in.

Day 08: Hoi An
After breakfast, you take the half day private tour to My Son – the sanctuary of Cham culture. Wander around the ruins of ancient My Son holy land and imagine the Champa people’s glory days dating from the 4th to the 13th century. In the afternoon, spend your leisure time with lounging on the beach or browsing the world of handicrafts and souvenirs in Hoian. You also can simply take a stroll along the riverside to get a feeling of the old days of the busy Faifo merchant port. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 09: Farmer to Fisherman in Hoi An (Join group)
The very special “Farming & Fishing” tour promises to bring visitors the most beautiful scenery of the countryside around Hoi An Town.
By exploring the typical narrow roads along the countryside by bicycle, and seeing sights such as water buffalo, rice paddy fields, organic vegetables and local farming people, you will be amazed to realize how peaceful the area is and how friendly its people are.
Getting in touch with local fishing life by using the fishing nets, riding funny basket boats, visiting a water palm coconut paradise and learning about the history about the Vietnamese people are great things to experience. The Farmer to Fisherman tour will be the special and unique tour that is committed to providing you a unique cultural window into the Vietnamese way of life.
Accompanied by your tour guide, you will commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities. You will see a water buffalo working in a rice paddy field, ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops. The photo opportunities are endless. Later you will board our Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy the hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while exploring coconut-palm flanked waterways. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities.

Day 10: Hoi An Free Day
Spend your leisure time with lounging on the beach or browsing the world of handicrafts and souvenirs in Hoian. You also can simply take a stroll along the riverside to get a feeling of the old days of the busy Faifo merchant port. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 11: Hoi An – Danang – Hue
You will leave Hoi An for another World Heritage site, Hue, via the Hai Van pass. You will stop to visit the Marble Mountains and a handicraft village before arriving in Hue. Free at leisure time. Overnight in Hue.

Day 12: Hue City Tour
Breakfast in hotel and meet up with our local guide again to start a day exploring the charms of The Citadel in this former Imperial City with many well-preserved royal monuments in Hue. Board a dragon boat to cruising the Perfume River and stop at Thien Mu Pagoda to visit one of the most ancient and historic Buddhist place. After a lunch served in a local restaurant, continue to visit the most famous Tu Duc’s tomb and Hue’s biggest Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 13: Hue – Ho Chi Minh
This morning, our driver will pick you up at the hotel and transfer to airport for the morning flight to Saigon. On arrival, welcome by our guide and driver then drive to downtown and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, we start our half-day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights includes The Old Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Independence Hall, War Remnants Museum and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Evening time is at your own leisure and overnight in HCMC.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta
Ben Tre is the best option for a day trip to the Mekong Delta from Saigon, since it is only around 2 hours away, and 15 minutes from My Tho. However, this wonderful destination retains an authenticity which has been somewhat lessened in nearby My Tho.
This picturesque and friendly Mekong Delta town has historically seen very few travelers, but the recent opening of a bridge connecting Ben Tre and My Tho has made it far easier for day trippers to visit from Saigon.
Our one-day cruise excursion starts at 8:00 am from the lobby of your hotel in Saigon with a drive to Ben Tre. While there, you can take a walk along the waterfront, lined with French era shops and houses, and you’ll see plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch around the country. Then, jump on a boat for a couple of hours of cruising on the Mekong River. You will enjoy your delicious lunch at a local restaurant or on board. The excursion will end at around 4:00 pm where the vehicle will await you for your transfer back to Saigon.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh Departure
This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and you may take a walk to the central Ben Thanh market area for some last minute shopping. Be packed and ready for your flight home or onward for an extension to the next destination.
