Day 01: Hanoi Arrival

Arrive at Noi Bai airport. You will be welcomed by our guide. We arrange drivers for you and take you to your hotel in Hanoi. Check in and have a restful overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02: Hanoi City Tour

The full day tour takes you around Hanoi’s highlights.  The sites including in the day tour in Hanoi are the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. You also have a chance to visit the first national university – The Temple of Literature, that dates back to the 11th century. You can learn about Buddhist practices in a serene lakeside pagoda. Visit the famous Ethnology Museum. Back to the Old Quarter, walk through the narrow streets that were famous for its specialized craft making guilds. The streets are named for their product or location and still bear such names nowadays. And then join a traditional water puppet show that features the Viet folklores and culture. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi – Ninh Binh

After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 8:00 am to Ninh Binh Province. Today we will learn about the national heroes Dinh and Le who founded the ancient capital of Hoalu, dated to the 10th century. Glide down a narrow stream in a small rowboat and enjoy a ride through Tam Coc area. This area is shaded by steep limestone cliffs in harmony with the blazing green rice paddies. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day 04: Ninh Binh – Halong Bay

After breakfast, at around 8.00 am, we  pick up you to start the trip to Halong Bay. On arrival, you are welcomed on boat and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically include a visit to Sung Sot grotto, kayaking (extra option at most of the boat, some boat has kayaking included), swimming in crystal water and enjoy the landscape or relaxing at the sundeck. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 05: Halong Bay – Hanoi

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air and breeze. A brand new day comes. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30am and your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 06: Hanoi – Sapa by Road

Pick up at your hotel after breakfast, we say good bye to the bustling Hanoi and venture our way to the very Northwest tip of Vietnam – Sapa. We stop en-route for photo shooting at times, when passing through many of the magnificent views along the way. About the noon time, we will have lunch upon Sapa arrival in a local restaurant. After hotel check-in, we are off to discover Sapa which set in a spectacularly beautiful valley and home to Black H’mong people. Trekking at Cat Cat village, just to free yourself and enjoy beautiful landscape and scenery along the walk covered by rain forest under the protection of Hoang Lien National Park. Back to the hotel in the late afternoon and you are free at leisure to discover the little town on own.

Day 07: Lao Chai – Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai

Get ready for a day devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sa Pa valley. We will follow a small dirt track and cross Muong Hoa River and visit the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai; admire the rice terraces hidden behind the mist of the morning, a truly awe-inspiring sight. At Ta Van, where is home to the Dzay people, there is a fascinating collection of rock carvings to explore nearly. Lunch is served in a very local house. In the afternoon, the Trek is made through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village before getting back to your hotel. Free and easy in the evening.

Day 08: Sapa – Hanoi

Free at your own leisure in the early morning or last minute shopping in Sapa central market. Check out of your hotel and transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 09: Hanoi – Hue

This morning, arrive at Hanoi Train station and see our driver who drives you to the airport to take a morning flight to Hue Airport. You are picked up by our guide and driver then transfer to your hotel in Hue. Check in and relax until our guide and driver come back to pick you up for a royal style dinner to show off the nice and sophisticated cuisine of Hue. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 10: Hue City Tour

Breakfast in hotel and meet up with our local guide again to start a day by exploring the charms of the Citadel in this former Imperial City with many well-preserved royal monuments in Hue. Board a dragon boat to cruise along the Huong River. Stop at Thien Mu Pagoda to see local religious practice at the most ancient Buddhist symbol of Hue. After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to visit the famous Tu Duc’s tomb and the bustling but charming Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 11: Hue – Danang – Hoi An

Followed by the ancient citadel visit is sightseeing the ancient town – Hoi An. Have a rewarding drive through the scenic Ocean Clouds Mountain Pass (Hai Van pass) with a stop in Cham Museum and Marble Mountain in Da Nang. After that, you will arrive at the well-known Hoi An ancient town. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant then check in hotel and leisure time on your own. In the afternoon, we take a walking tour into the Old Quarter to visit the Chinese Embassy Halls, Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda & Tan Ky House. Early evening will be free time for shopping or relaxation. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: My Son Holyland

After breakfast, you take the half day private tour to My Son – the sanctuary of Cham culture. You will walk into the ruins of ancient My Son holy land to recall the Champa people’s glory days dating from the 4th to the 13th century. In the afternoon, spend your leisure time with lounging on the beach or browsing the world of handicrafts and souvenirs in Hoian. You also can simply stroll along the riverside to get a feeling of the old days of the busy Faifo merchant port. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13: Hoi An – Danang – Nha Trang

After breakfast, transfer to Da Nang to take your flight to Nha Trang. Arrive at Camranh airport in Nha Trang and go on a drive to the downtown of this sun-washed city. Check in your hotel and be ready for your beach break.

Day 15: Nha Trang – Da Lat

This morning, after breakfast, enjoy your beach time. Then after checking out your room, our driver will come and pick you up for a ride to Dalat, the most romantic and European style city in Vietnam. The drive is scenic with splendid views of natural landscapes along. Arrive at Dalat at around noon time, check in and overnight in Dalat.

Day 16: Da Lat

Today, at around 8.30 am, our guide and driver will take you out for a city tour. The tour includes the highlights of the city such as the famed Truc Lam Thien Vien Temple, Bao Dao’s villa which is a base for the last Emperor on his many hunting expeditions to the surrounding hills, the old train station and the aged old cathedral. You also can visit Da Lat’s bustling markets packed with produces such as locally grown flowers and fruits. The rest of the day is up to you. Overnight in Dalat.

Day 17: Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh

After breakfast, check-out and get your transfer to the airport to take a 30 minutes flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, check in your hotel and relax or doing some own strolll to explore around the hotel neighborhood area. Overnight in Saigon.

Day 18: Cu Chi Tunnel – Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Today in the morning, we drive to the outskirts of the city to Cu Chi and witness the tremendous work done by V.C and guerrilla fighters during the Vietnam war, the massive network of tunnels that remains to these days

After lunch, we start our tour to all the hot spots including Central Post Office, Reunification Palace and the provocative War Remnants Museum. You can browse for some souvenirs at the bustling Ben Thanh market or stroll along the ancient Rue Cardinal (now Dong Khoi Street) to see how fascinating and extraordinary the city’s life . The evening is at your own leisure.

Day 19: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta

We will meet at lobby of the hotel then transfer to Cai Be town. It take us around 2,5 hour driving to reach there. When we arrive at Cai Be, board on our boat. You will have a welcome drink, along with the introduction to the ship. The crew is ready to check you into the cabins. Lunch is served while en route. The cruise slips into the canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches. This is a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Visit to a village on the banks of river, an opportunity to learn more about the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants while visiting their orchard or rice fields nearby.
Back on board and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. Dinner is served on boat. Overnight on board.

Day 20: Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City

We may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30 am. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, transfer onto a local boat to navigate through and visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier. By mid-morning, the boat trip will end on shore at Can Tho where we will take our private vehicle back to Ho Chi Minh city. Check in our hotel and relax at your own leisure. Dinner is up to you.
