Day 01: Yangon Arrival

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our well-experienced guide. Transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Yangon.

Day 02: Yangon Sightseeing

Today, visit the old colonial-style city center with city hall, Mahabandoola Park with Independence Monument, Pansodan Street and and Yangon Jetty by Car. Then continue to visit Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market, (close on every Monday & Public holiday) and famous of its shops of souvenir, handicrafts, luxury item, foot wares, clothing, jewelary, food stuff and paintings.

In the afternoon, the tour continues to visit Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha and continue visit to Karaweik Hall (Royal barge) on the Royal lake and Kandawgyi Park to relax and for to take photo.

And the last tour visit for today is world famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine before sunset. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 03: Yangon – Mandalay

Breakfast at hotel, transfer to the airport to take domestic flight to Mandalay. Arrive at Mandalay, half day sightseeing tour of Mandalay by car includes Mahamuni Pagoda, gold of hammering, Mandalay Palace. From there, you will have new experience by visiting trishaw to Kuthodaw Pagoda by surrounding 729 inscribed marble slabs, known as “the world’s largest book”, Shwenandaw “Golden Palace Monastery” to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture, and visit Atumashi Monastery.

Evening, enjoy sunset from beautiful U Bein Bridge which is more than two centuries old and at 1.2 km longest teakwood span in the world. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 04: Amarapura – Sagaing – Mingun

After breakfast, today visit Amarapura. Highlights include Mahagandayon Monastery which is a school for young monks and observe the lunch process in morning. Then, proceed to Sagaing, the hilltops, each crested with a pagoda, the banners proclaiming the Buddha’s teaching, the refuge from all ills and tribulations where over 600 monasteries for monks and nuns are located for Buddhist studies and mediation. Visit to U Min Thonze (or Thirty Caves Pagoda) which has many Buddha images in a shaped colonnade and the impressive Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda and enjoy panoramic view from Sagaing Hill.

In the afternoon, transfer to jetty to take a private boat for a cruise over the Ayeyarwaddy River towards the Mingun village, famous of huge unfinished pagoda and second biggest bell in the world. First, we will visit Mingun Pahtodawgyi, unfinished pagoda ruined by earthquake. Then, continue to see World’s secound largest uncracked ringing Mingun bell. After that, strolling along the road, gazing souvenir shops and galleries of local artists. Visit Mya Thein Tan Pagoda (white Hsinbyume Pagoda), not only beautiful white pagoda also can see panorama. The boat floating down to Mandalay and overnight.

Day 05: Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Pyin Oo Lwin and sightseeing start with a piece of big marble Buddhist pagoda named Maha Ant Htoo Kan Thar Pagoda. Then continue to the Pwe Kauk Water Falls, very pleasant picnic spot and stroll in the beautiful and wonderful Botanical Garden at Kandawgyi Lake. If time permit, visit Peik Chin Myaung, a limestone stalactite cave before return to Mandalay 19th century capital. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 06: Mandalay – Bagan by private car

After breakfast, drive to Bagan. On the way, visit Popa Mountain Resort, surrounded by lush greenery and everyone can enjoy a panoramic view from there. We will then proceed drive to Bagan for leisure in the afternoon. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 07: Bagan Full Day Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel, visit one of Asia’s most popular archeological destinations.  First, start to visit Shwezigon Pagoda, even King Anawyahta built first pagoda in Bagan in the 11th century but the most beautiful pagoda among 2200 pagodas in Bagan. Then, visit Htilominlo Temple and Gubaukgyi (Wet Kyi Inn) Temple, it is a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sconces from the Jataka.

In the afternoon, continue to visit Lacquer ware home cottage, to study how to create the traditional method of generation by generation. After that, explore more pagodas around Bagan, Ananda Temple, the most finest one in Bagan and famous of masterpiece of wooden standing Buddha images of 12th century.  And continue to see the highest Thetbyinnyu Temple, the most massive Dhamayangyi Temple, famous of its interlocking mortar thickest brickwork. Late afternoon, relax and enjoy sunset in Bagan with beautiful scenery. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 08: Cooking Class

Today, morning cooking class starts at the New Bagan market at 07.30 am where we browse and do some shopping then walk to local house for cooking and enjoy lunch. Our aim is to introduce you not only to Myanmar food but also our culture, lifestyle and how food and dining is a key part of our social life. They are not professional chefs, just love sharing food and stories with travellers. The class is at local house with local cooking equipment and traditional recipes- part of it is hands-on and part is demonstration. The menu includes soup, salad and main course. In the afternoon, we have chance to take the traditional horse-drawn carriage, visit within many ruined spotted temples and beautiful acacia and neem trees. Overnight at Bagan.

Day 09: Bagan – Heho – Kalaw

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport domestic flight to Heho, Arrival Heho, drive by road to Kalaw. Kalaw is a former colonial British hill station on the western edge of the Shan Plateau in Myanmar and it is cool during the day and cold at night. There are many hiking trails amid gnarled pines and bamboo groves. Palaung Tribe Village is also famous for trekking and a narrow valley where the Palaung cultivate cheroot, tea, damsons and mangoes on the hill. Arrive hotel, leisure time for the whole day and overnight in Kalaw.

Day 10: Kalaw (Elephant Camp And Replantation)

After breakfast, the tour drive to Elephant camp in Magwe village, Arrival at camp, 05 minutes’ walk to get Light refreshment, continue to the river where elephant bath and you can join in feeding and bathing the elephants. Chance to see elephant families down in the valley with their bamboo houses. Exploration of the forest area on elephant back, opportunity to see butterflies, birds and orchids around our conservation area. Lunch at elephant camp and then you are free to explore the surrounding area with our local trekking guide. You are also welcome to join us by planting regional trees from our nursery in our forest recovery efforts. Returning to main camp by foot (10-20 mins) and drive back to Kalaw. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 11: Sagar – Inle

After breakfast at hotel, today excursion trip by boat named Sagar, famous of its ruined pagodas and beautiful scenery. Even, on the way to Sagar, can see beautiful villages with big monastery and big houses built with bamboos stilt or teak posts. In the wetland, we get a glimpse of many unique species of indigenous and migratory birds. On the way, we can visit the “Sunken” stupas of Sagar- 108 stupas from the 16-17th centuries, some are partially under the water for a few months a year. Continue to visit Sagar and walk around the village. After there, cross the river by boat and going up to the hill and see another big lake like Inle. Walk a few minutes in the village and taste the home-made traditional rice liquor. Return back to hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 12: Inle Lake Sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel, we will feel the magical atmosphere by boat. Inle Lake is located 1328 meters above sea level and 22km long and 11km wide. Inle was well-known by the floating island and fisherman on the lake. Sightseeing is including 5 Days rotation market (only on market day), famous Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Silk weaving and Lotus cotton weaving village, Cheroot making and other cottage industries, Silversmith workshop, etc.

Then, before return back to hotel, we can see the Nga Phe Chaung Monastery of its beautiful Buddha alters of native artisan and abundance of teak posts. Return back to hotel among floating gardens and overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Inle – Heho – Yangon

Breakfast at hotel, fly back to Yangon. Today, full day in Yangon at your disposal by car. Your itinerary is your own design and you can discuss with guide before departure OR shopping.

In the evening, stroll through 19th street will definitely give you a state of the night life in China Town. Overnight in Yangon.
