Day 03: Saigon Alley Tour – Dinner at Rooftop

Saigon alleys tour will give you an in depth views of Saigon peoples life. Walking through small back alleys brings you close to the local residential areas with its daily vibrant activities. See small shops, eateries and cafes integrated within their houses. The excursion also leads you to the commandos secret weapons storage where the Saigon commandos of Team 5 gathered to collect weapons for the Tet Offensive on 30 January 1968. It has been recognized as a national historical site since 1988.

Day 04: Full Day Cu Chi Tunnel – City Tour

After breakfast at hotel, you will drive to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which consist of more than 200 km of underground tunnels. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrances to other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of

what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War. After lunch. you will embark on a city tour of Saigon, including the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, the War Remnants Museum and bustling Ben Thanh Market. And overnight in HCMC.

Day 05: Mekong Delta for a day to Ben Tre

Get ready for a one day cruise excursion to Ben Tre. Ben Tre is the best option for a day trip to the Mekong Delta from Saigon, since it is only around 2 hours away, and 15 minutes from My Tho. However, this wonderful destination retains an authenticity which has been somewhat lessened in nearby My Tho. While there, walk along the waterfront, cruise on the Mekong River and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant or on board. Afterwards, head back to Saigon.

Day 06: Ho Chi Minh – Phu Quoc

Day 09: Phu Quoc – Saigon – Flight to Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel. Free with leisure time until transfer to Airport for flight back to Saigon then connecting to Siem Reap. Pick up then transfer to hotel. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 10: Siem Reap

Wake up early in the morning for sunrise at Angkor Wat. Return to your hotel for breakfast.  After breakfast, visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle. Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Early evening, you will be taken by Tuk Tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap town and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 11: Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel, Heading out of town we make our way by traveling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Afternoon, Visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Rolous, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89. Preah Ko erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 12: Siem Reap – Flight to Danang – Hoi An

This day you will leave Siem Reap for flight to Danang. Upon arrival, pick up then transfer to hotel. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 13: Half Day Cooking Class – Ancient Town Hoi An

You will have cooking class at Red Bridge Restaurant, visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. We board the Red Bridge boat for a leisurely cruise (25 minutes) along the Hoi An River to the Red Bridge Cooking School. On arrival, we explore the cooking school’s herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An’s and Vietnam’s well-known dishes. The cooking lesson runs for about 2 hours – each dish is first demonstrated by the Red Bridge chef’s, before we prepare the same dish ourselves. Included in the class is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). After the lesson, we sit down and eat exactly what we have cooked.

Following lunch,  you will take a walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter , visiting Chua Ong Pagoda , the Chinese Assembly Halls , the 200 year old Tam Ky Ancestral House, and the Japanese Bridge. Overnight in Hoian.

Day 14: Farming & Fishing tour with bicycle

The very special “Farming & Fishing” tour promises to bring visitors the most beautiful scenery of the countryside around Hoi An Town.

By exploring the typical narrow roads along the countryside by bicycle, and seeing sights such as water buffalo, rice paddy fields, organic vegetables and local farming people, you will be amazed to realize how peaceful the area is and how friendly its people are.

Getting in touch with local fishing life by using the fishing nets, riding funny basket boats, visiting a water palm coconut paradise and learning about the history about the Vietnamese people are great things to experience. The Farmer to Fisherman tour will be the special and unique tour that is committed to providing you a unique cultural window into the Vietnamese way of life.

Accompanied by your tour guide, you will commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities. You will see a water buffalo working in a rice paddy field, ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops. The photo opportunities are endless. Later you will board our Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy the hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while exploring coconut-palm flanked waterways. Day 16: Hoi An – Danang – Hue

You will leave Hoi An for another World Heritage site, Hue, via the Hai Van pass. You will stop to visit the Marble Mountains and a handicraft village before arriving in Hue. Overnight in Hue.

Day 17: Hue City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, you will board a private boat and go cruising on the romantic Perfume River. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with many tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day, and from here you will cruise further to ornate Minh Mang’s Tomb, he Citadel, the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 18: Hue – Flight to Hanoi – Hanoi Foodie Tour

Breakfast at hotel, then you will be transfer to airport for flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. This is Vietnam’s capital and celebrated its anniversary of 1,000 years in 2010. Historical emphasis on the arts and learning stipulates that buildings in Hanoi remain small, simple and in harmony with nature.

Day 19: Hanoi – Halong Bay

9.00: Depart from Hanoi to Halong Bay by private car.

12.00: Upon arrival at Emperor Cruises, located at Hon Gai dock, our team will welcome you in our lounge before boardinggg.

12.30: Our Experiences Manager will assist you with boarding to start cruising in Bai Tu Long Bay. Check in to your cabin as we set sail from Vinashin dock to cruise among the many beautiful islets (scenes from the film ‘Indochine’ were filmed here). Bai Tu Long Bay has a wild beauty and the panoramas from the boat are unforgettable.

13.00: A set menu lunch will be served at our Paranoma Restaurant on the main deck. Savor delicious Vietnamese food while admiring the grace of the bay.

14.30: Explore the area of Hon Co Island and Co Cave (Grass Cave, also known as Thien Canh Son). You can revel in the breathtaking view of Bai Tu Long bay from up high, as well as the glorious long white-sand beach of Hon Co Island. Afterwards relax on the beach, go swimming in the crystal clear water and explore the cave.

16.30: Return to the cruise by small boat
