Day 01: Hanoi – Ha Giang

Pick up at your hotel after breakfast, we say goodbye to the bustling Hanoi and venture our way to the very Northern trip of Vietnam – Ha Giang. We stop en-route for photo shooting at times when passing through many of the magnificent views along the way. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant and continue our drive further till Ha Giang arrives. Check into your hotel and overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 02: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Dong Van

After simple breakfast, our guide and driver will take you to Quan Ba, continue to feast your eyes with splendid views along the ride until we get to Quan Ba, home to Dao and Tay minorities, seasonal farmlands and verdant hillocks. We will do some hiking to green and dirt track to walk to some village and to discover their daily life. After lunch, we will keep our way to Dong Van, a beautiful town surrounded by its limestone rock formation. Upon arrival, check-in your hotel and overnight in Dong Van.

Day 03: Dong Van

After breakfast, a great day is in store when we start our trek through the remote and beautiful countryside of Dong Van where we pass through some villages along the beaten tracks used by the locals and for the locals. It is a rewarded time with a brilliant backdrop of picturesque valleys covered in rice paddies. We visit the H’mong and Tay people who are the local ethnic minorities to welcome you with their friendliness, colorful clothing, and warm hospitality. Later of the day, we return to the same hotel in Dong Van and at leisure time until dinner. Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 04: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Quan Ba

In the morning, we check out Dong Van and making our way through the well-known mountain pass of Ma Pi Leng. This scenic journey up through rugged outcrops to the beautiful town of Meo Vac. Set amongst towering mountains, Meo Vac is home to some H’mong and Bo Y and Tay farming families. After lunch in Meo Vac, we continue our way in the afternoon to Quan Ba where we stay overnight in a traditional wooden stilt-house and to experience the local way of life.

Day 05: Quan Ba – Hanoi

After a local breakfast, we take a relaxing hike into a nearby village with a very lively market. You will have the chance to witness the Dao, Tay and H’mong people exchange their locally made arts and crafts and other daily life necessity. Saying goodbye to Quan Ba, we take our journey back to Hanoi and lunch will be served in a local restaurant along the way. Arrive Hanoi in the late afternoon and check into your hotel.
