Day 1
Hanoi Arrival
You’ll start your luxury trip in Hanoi, Vietnam’s artistic and intellectual capital which celebrated its 1000 year anniversary in 2010. Historical emphasis on the arts and learning stipulates that buildings in Hanoi remain small, simple and in harmony with nature.
You will be met at the airport and escorted to your hotel where you will have free time before a welcome dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Hanoi City Tour
Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the preserved body of “Uncle Ho” may be viewed. You will also see his nearby house, the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and other museums.
After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride around the Hanoi Old Quarter and watch a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Day 3
Ninh Binh Day Trip
Your driver and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel at 8:00 AM for the journey to Ninh Binh province, located south of the Northern Delta between the Red River and Ma River.
Around 10:30 AM you will arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and visit the temples of King Dinh Bo Linh and King Le Hoan.
At 12:00 PM enjoy lunch at a local restaurant featuring local specialties.
After lunch, take a boat trip through the cave complex in Trang An Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its limestone karst peaks, valleys and spectacular natural scenery.
At 4:00 PM depart for Hanoi and arrive around 6:30 PM. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4
Hanoi – Halong Bay
After breakfast you will depart at 8:30 AM for a 2.5-hour drive to Halong Bay.
Around 11:30–12:00 you will board your cruise and enjoy lunch while cruising through the bay.
Activities may include visiting the Amazing Cave, kayaking, and swimming in the crystal-clear water depending on the cruise itinerary.
Dinner and overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 5
Halong Bay – Hanoi
Wake up to the sounds of the bay and enjoy breakfast on board.
Visit a beautiful limestone grotto before cruising back to the dock.
The boat arrives at the harbor around 11:30 AM. Your driver will transfer you to Hanoi airport for a flight to Hue.
Upon arrival in Hue, transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6
Hue Ancient Capital
At 8:30 AM you will meet your driver and guide and board a dragon boat for a cruise on the Perfume River.
Visit Thien Mu Pagoda, a symbol of Hue and Vietnamese Buddhism.
Continue to visit King Minh Mang’s Tomb and King Tu Duc’s Tomb.
After lunch at a local restaurant, visit Hue Citadel and Dong Ba Market.

Day 7
Hue – Danang – Hoi An
Travel from Hue to Hoi An via the scenic Hai Van Pass.
Stop in Danang to visit the Cham Museum and handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain.
Upon arrival in Hoi An, check in to your hotel and enjoy free time to explore the town.

Day 8
Hoi An Ancient Town
Hoi An was a thriving international trading port between the 16th and 18th centuries for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders.
Enjoy a half-day walking tour through the ancient town visiting:

- Chinese Assembly Halls
- Tam Ky ancestral house
- Japanese Bridge
After the tour you will have free time to shop or relax.
Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9
Half Day Cooking Class
Visit Hoi An’s riverside market to shop for ingredients before joining a cooking demonstration at Red Bridge Cooking School.
Enjoy the meal you prepared before having free time in the afternoon.

Day 10
Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh
Transfer to Danang airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
Your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 11
Mekong Delta – Ben Tre
Travel to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta, about two hours from Ho Chi Minh City.
Walk along the waterfront and observe coconut trading activities before boarding a boat to cruise along the Mekong River.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or on board.
Return to Saigon around 4:00 PM.

Day 12
Cu Chi Tunnel – Flight to Siem Reap
Take a half-day excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War.
The tunnels included living quarters, storage areas, hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today they are preserved as a historical attraction.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City before transferring to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap.
In the evening enjoy dinner with an Apsara dance performance.

Siem Reap
Early morning visit Angkor Wat for sunrise.
Explore the Angkor complex including:

Doi Inthanon National Park
Visit Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest peak at 8,514 feet above sea level.
Enjoy a short trek through rainforest along Michael’s Trail, the origin of the Ping River.
Visit the Royal Twin Pagodas and Wachiratarn Waterfall.

Chiang Mai – Bangkok
Transfer to Chiang Mai airport for a flight to Bangkok.
