Day 1

Welcome to Hanoi

Upon arrival at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Vietnam’s capital.

You’ll have free time to fresh up and relax in the comfort of your hotel room before embarking on a Vespa Motorbike Street Food Tour in the evening.

Exploring the food of the city is a wonderfully chaotic, social and lively experience. Different to food tours which are focussed on street stalls of the Old Quarter, our adventure takes you to see other corners of the city where the tourists rarely set foot but containing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine. The tour is combined with the riding of Vespa through some landmarks, narrow alleys in the city and tasting the local cuisine. Come with an empty stomach and wake up your five senses with an appetite!

Day 2

Immerse Yourself in Hanoi’s City Streets

Early this morning, our tour guide with the cyclo driver will come to pick you up from your hotel. You will take a cyclo ride to discover the city whilst other people are still asleep.

Before most people wake up and the constant hum of motorbikes kicks in, you’ll enjoy a peaceful “spiritual” side to Hanoi that many tourists miss, reaching Ba Dinh Square for the solemn flag-raising ceremony. You will then get a transfer back to hotel for breakfast.

Afterward, you will have a half-day city tour for visiting the highlights of Hanoi: the Temple of Literature, the site of Vietnam’s oldest university dedicated to one of the world’s most famous scholars, Confucius.

Then, you will visit one of the city’s museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum before finishing the day with a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.

Day 3

Find Tranquility in Halong Bay

After breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to Ha Long Bay and arrive the jetty around 11.30 p.m.
About 12.00 -12.30, you are welcomed on board and have set lunch while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will basically include a visit to the cave, kayaking, swimming in crystal water. Dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Day 4

The Paradise of Halong Bay

Wake up on the bay to the sounds of waves, fresh air, and breeze. After breakfast, visit a beautiful limestone grotto then walk back to the boat for a final glimpse of Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. The boat arrives at the harbor by 11.30 am. Your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Hue.

Up on arrive in Hue, our driver & guide will pick you up & take you to hotel for check in.

Day 5

Hue City Tour

Rising up in this ancient land, you will have breakfast in the hotel before setting off on a romantic cruise on the Perfume River. Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to some of these tombs will be on the itinerary for today. The charming Lady Pagoda (Thien Mu Pagoda) will be the first stop of the day. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the unofficial symbol of Hue, and the center of Buddhism in Central Vietnam. You will rejoin your car and drive to King Minh Mang’s Tomb. In the afternoon you will embark on a tour of Hue, including the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, the Imperial Museum and the Dong Ba market. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6

Hue – Danang – Hoi An

You will leave Hue for Hoi An, World Heritage recognized the city. You will stop in Danang for a visit to the Cham Museum and the handicraft villages at the foot of Marble Mountain. Once in Hoi An, you will check into your hotel and have some free time to explore before an overnight stay in Hoi An.

Day 7

The Spectacular Culture of Hoi An

This morning, you will enjoy a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

You’ll have lunch at a local restaurant then the lantern making class is waiting for you. The first hour of the class focuses on the construction of the lantern base, where you string 12 pieces of a bamboo frame onto a wire, and then position them around the base and the top, then hand bend the bamboo to the desired shape.

Once complete, you’ll have a nice souvenir to bring home, a good way to test your skills for mnual work and your sense of aestheticism

Day 8

Farmer to Fisherman in Hoi An Ancient Town

The very special “Farming & Fishing” tour promises to bring visitors the most beautiful scenery of the countryside around Hoi An Town.

By exploring the typical narrow roads along the countryside by bicycle, and seeing sights such as water buffalo, rice paddy fields, organic vegetables and local farming people, you will be amazed to realize how peaceful the area is and how friendly its people are.

Getting in touch with local fishing life by using the fishing nets, riding funny basket boats, visiting a water palm coconut paradise and learning about the history about the Vietnamese people are great things to experience. The Farmer to Fisherman tour will be the special and unique tour that is committed to providing you a unique cultural window into the Vietnamese way of life.

Accompanied by your tour guide, you will commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities. You will see a water buffalo working in a rice paddy field, ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops. The photo opportunities are endless. Later you will board our Hoi An Eco-Tour boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy the hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while exploring coconut-palm flanked waterways. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities.
