Day 1
Bangkok Arrival
You will be met at Suvarnabhumi International Airport and transfer to the hotel by the private air-conditioned vehicle with your English speaking guide. After check-in, the rest of the day is free on your own. You will stay overnight in Bangkok.

Day 2
Bangkok City Tour
Begin the first morning of your memorable honeymoon by making “Sankatarn”, a special kind of offering dedicated to Buddhist monks, and get a holy blessing for a happy married life. This Buddhist ritual is exclusively arranged for the couple at Wat Ratchaborphit, one of the most beautiful royal temples, with a nice, quiet, non-tourist atmosphere. You will be impressed by the harmony of its dazzling Thai exterior and elegant European influenced interior.
You will continue to the Grand Palace and visit the most beautiful temple of the ancient Siamese Court, as well as visit the beautiful Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha in Thailand.
After the visit, you will cross the river by a shuttle boat to Supatra River House, overlooking the Grand Palace, for a sumptuous Thai set lunch. You will stay overnight in Bangkok.

Day 3
Bangkok – Chiang Rai
You will have free until time to transfer to the airport for the flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, you are welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in.
This afternoon, you’ll visit the world famous Golden Triangle, where the borders of three countries meet: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. You will stop en route to have lunch at a local restaurant and then visit the Hall of Opium, an insightful museum focusing on the history of the Golden Triangle and the opium trade. A multi-million dollar museum in the sleepy village of Baan Sop Ruak, it provides an in-depth look at the history of the area’s association with opium.

Day 4
Mahout Training Course with Elephant Trekking & Side trip to Burma
In the morning, take part in a half-day mahout training course and discover how to feed, bathe, and guide our elephants like the mahouts do. You’ll have opportunities to learn some basic mahout commands for your elephant. Then, you’ll start your 2-hour elephant trekking into the jungle. You’ll be back to the hotel at around noon time.
In the afternoon, get on an exciting excursion to Mae Sai, the border of Thailand and Burma, for a visit to Tha Chilek. After finishing formalities, cross the Sai River into Tha Chilek, where you can witness local Burmese life in a nearby village. Take a tricycle ride to explore Tha Chilek with its Shan-style temple before retiring for the evening.

Day 5
Chiang Rai – Chiang Mai
This morning, you will start a scenic drive of around 3 hours to Chiang Mai, with stops en route for a visit to Wat Rong Khun Temple. The temple is different from any other temple in Thailand, as it has been constructed entirely in a radiant white with sparkling reflections from mirrored glass mosaics embedded in the white plaster.

Day 6
Chiang Mai City Tour & Leisure Biking
Head out into Chiang Mai and drive through different parts of the city, visiting of Chiang Mai’s famous temples: Wat Chiang Man, Wat Phra Singh, and Wat Suan Dok. This afternoon, you will take a leisurely bicycle journey along the Ping River over quiet, narrow roads and through local fruit orchards, rice paddies, and small villages. You will stop occasionally to visit temples, markets, traditional northern Thai houses and a local Thai school. This bicycle journey is at a very gentle pace with a variety of stops.

Day 7
Chiang Mai
You will start out with a drive through different parts of the city, passing old city walls, gates, the city moat, markets, residential areas, foreign consulates, government buildings and Tapae, Chiang Mai’s main street. You will drive up Doi (Mount) Suthep to visit Wat Phrathad Doi Suthep, built in 1383 and 35,00 feet above sea level. You will continue to visit Phu Ping Palace, their Majesties’ Winter Palace (4,000 feet above sea level), and 4 km beyond, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on Doi Buak Ha. This royal winter palace was built in 1962 with the lavishly landscaped gardens and grounds. A special visit will be made to Bor-Sang; a traditional umbrella-making village, where you can see the local people making umbrellas or paper parasols in a variety of pretty floral and animal designs.

Day 8
Chiang Mai – Phu Ket
You will have free time at leisure until transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your departure to Bangkok. Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will transfer to a flight to Phuket (a direct flight from Chiang Mai to Phuket is also available). After arrival at Phuket Airport, you will transfer to your hotel and have an overnight stay in Phuket.
